SOMEDAY WE'LL ALL BE FREE tribute to malcolm x

Performed by Aretha Franklin
I just had to share this moving tribute with you all. This is one of my favorite versions of this song.

""Someday We'll All Be Free" is a 1973 song by Donny Hathaway from the album Extension of a Man. The song was released as the flipside to the single "Love, Love, Love". Though the song was only released as an uncharted A-side, it is considered an R&B standard, having been covered by many artists over the years."

America, Trump and Reality TV

Don't look now but Donald Trump has taken his money, hijacked the US presidential primary election platform and turned the American electoral process into his own reality TV show.

 Bad, bad, bad, bad people.
Silly, angry, mis-guided, overzealous, foolish, Americans, maybe.  Not bad, bad, bad, bad people.
Should America be in the unfortunate position to find itself with Donald Trump as a president, who knows where this type of rhetoric will take us.  Those of us who find themselves on the bad, bad, bad, bad list, could also find that they are suddenly the recipients of state sanctioned retribution and punishment at the hands of those folks who just happen to be on the "right " side of the Trump organization. Scary stuff if you ask me.

I suggest that instead of using resources and energy to disturb Trump rallies, one's time and effort might be better spent stirring up an opposition in the form of encouraging people to become registered informed voters who under no circumstances will allow the United States to be dragged back into the early 20th century by those who are afraid to permit the country to evolve into a state where all Americans have a right to participate in the decisions as to which actions will allow us to thrive and come together as a people in this new millennium.
